Pikachu, I choose you! Pokemon, short for pocket monster, is a hit's children television show that paved the way for a multitude of card games, video games, movies, and merchandise. Today, many adults fondly remember trading Pokemon cards in the school hallways, while children are still watching the adventures of the latest generation of Pokemon. He faces the evil (but comical) Team Rocket, made up of Jesse, James, and a Meowth who happens to be one of the series' only Pokemon to speak English, and his longtime rival Gary Oak, as he competes in various arenas, wins badges, participates in competitions, and strives to become the ultimate Pokemon Master. Selfless, determined, and fiercely competitive, Ash is a cartoon hero many children look up too, which makes him a great option for a Halloween Costume.
